Ear Candling

Ear Candles safely and gently cleanse the ear canal of wax build up and other obstructions which contribute to hearing loss and various ear and sinus disorders. Candling is currently being practiced in nursing homes and alternative health centers throughout the U.S. because it is more comfortable and less expensive than traditional ear cleaning techniques that force water into the canal. Long practiced in countries such as China, Czechoslovakia, Mexico and Italy, this ancient art is quickly increasing in U.S. popularity.

Many coughs are a direct result of a sinus infection. The inner ear and small sinus cavities get blocked with mucus and infection sets in. Ear Candling helps drain and dry out the small, dark places where germs live and multiply, which is why ear candling is part of our preventative cold and flu treatments.

Ear candling is used during a cold or flu as it can help to open blocked sinus passages.

Itchy ears could be caused from an abundance of  yeast in the body, creating a situation of Candida (too much sugar in the body). The Candida starting in the intestines and traveling up into the eustachion tube can get into the sinus and ear canal. Ear Candling helps to dry out these areas.

The process:
The candle is placed gently in the ear canal and the opposite end is lit. The burning candle gives off a warm smoke that travels into the ear, which softens ear wax and creates a suction pulling out the softened the wax. The treatment is very relaxing as the practitioner massages sinus points and facial muscles. You should hear some crackling sounds coming from the candle as it burns down. Afterwards your hearing will be more acute and will improve especially if wax blockage is gone. Your ear could feel airy and opened to sounds and tones.
